Welcome to the Newsletter section for the
Department of History. The Department of History publishes two
newsletters. View the Department of History Newsletter

interest from our alumni are shared. You'll also note some
exciting things going on for our graduate students with their research
and studies. Undergraduate Students will find the

quite helpful for keeping
up on semester activities and an excellent source for useful information
on a variety of subjects.

The
Department of History Newsletter is issued once a
year by our newsletter editor, Fay Chan. Hard copy of this
newsletter is mailed to alumni and by
request to friends of the department. Extra copies are available in
the main office. Previously this
newsletter was titled the Primary Source. If you wish
to be added to this mailing list please send your request and
address information to
history@purdue.edu. (Click here for the

The Undergraduate Newsletter is issued once each semester
by the undergraduate newsletter editor, Nicky Elmore. Students receive
notice through e-mail each semester that the publication is
completed on-line and a link is provided. Previously this
newsletter was titled The Observator. (Click here for
the Spring 2008 edition)
