Research Participation System
The School of Communication has always maintained an excellent reputation for research and scholarship, as well as for teaching. Student participation in studies conducted by members of the School has helped to create this reputation. In fact, much of the research that is taught in communication courses is based on the participation of undergraduate students.
Typically students participate in research as part of their courses in which they may receive extra credit. Please, check with your Professor or check your course syllabus to see which of your courses allows extra credit for research participation before signing up for a study. To expedite the process for recruiting and crediting students for research participation, the School of Communication is now using the Research Participation System.
The Research Participation System provides an easy online method for you to sign up for research studies (only studies conducted by School members), to keep track of the studies you have completed, and to view how many credits you have earned for each study.
