2nd annual recruiting weekend a big success

CGSA played a big role in the department's second annual recruiting weekend for prospective graduate students from across the country held March 4-6.

CGSA hosted a poster session that featured more than 20 graduate students sharing their research interests with the prospects.

CGSA also used informal get-togethers, lunches and campus tours to answer students' questions about Purdue's program and to get to know each student individually.

"CGSA members worked hard during the weekend to show the prospective students every aspect of graduate life at Purdue," said Matt Gill, CGSA president. "CGSA believes one of our most vital roles is as an ambassador for the department."
