Going Global ...

     In the classroom

The professor concluded her COM674C Global Organizations class lecture with an open discussion.  She and her six students watched a nearby television monitor silently as several graduate students, seatedworld around a conference table on the Champaign-Urbana campus, shuffled through their notes.

"This is Josh at Illinois.  I have a question," said a phantom voice from the group on the television facing the Purdue computer lab.

Katie Berger comes from the small town of Remington, Ind. Population: 1,000. It is so small, in fact, that it doesn't even have a stoplight.  The junior journalism major wanted to do something "no one in my little town has done." What she chose to do was study abroad.
