About Purdue Theatre

Communication. Collaboration. Creativity. These essential skills are the hallmark of the training programs at Purdue Theatre. Students develop close, cooperative relationships with their mentors in a nurturing and challenging artistic environment.

Purdue Theatre faculty and staff are professional artists and technicians who work at major theatrical venues throughout the nation and the world. They share their experience in the classroom, on the stage, and one-on-one to prepare students for careers in the entertainment industry.

Purdue Theatre is housed in the beautiful Yue-Kong Pao Hall of Visual and Performing Arts, where students benefit from state of the art facilities and equipment.

Purdue Theatre offers the following degree programs:

Graduate Program:

Undergraduate Program:

Our Marquee series consists of 4 ticketed shows presented between September and April. Productions involve a mix of undergraduate, graduate, faculty, and guest artists who serve as directors, designers, actors, and technicians. Non-ticketed productions generated by members of the Purdue Theatre community compose our diverse Shrader Workshop series. All performance and production assignments are chosen by open audition or interview, and non-theatre majors are always welcome.
